No to the Saint-Gervais Telecabine Link
The Telecabine Link
The valley lift project consists of building a gondola in Saint-Gervais between the Fayet district near the SNCF station and the departure of the Bettex gondola towards the ski slopes.
Its objective is to transport residents, high school students, employees and holidaymakers. 125,000 trips per year are planned for residents and 144,000 trips per year for tourists.
But these figures and its true usefulness are far from being demonstrated...
Despite considerable public expenditure in a small town, the Valley lift would not achieve its objectives of urban and tourist transport, reduction of traffic and road nuisance, all without any control of its operating costs...
Our association
Acting Ecologically, Respectfully is an association created in 2020 by a group of residents to challenge and oppose the plan to install a telecabine link between Le Fayet and Saint-Gervais.
You are interested to work with us and to hear more about our approach do not hesitate to get in touch. Our association is open to all, and welcomes new members.
This appeal for donations campaign is part of our approach to opposing the valley lift project and should allow us to finance the legal actions now necessary, through the use of a specialized law firm.
